About Alex

I’m Alex Kerr — a proud Wurundjeri man, artist, and cultural storyteller.
Born and raised in Melbourne, my work is grounded in the stories, traditions, and knowledge passed down through my ancestors. Culture isn’t an influence in my practice — it’s the foundation.

After a decade working in commercial construction and construction management, I learned how ideas are built at scale. Today, I bring that same discipline and leadership into my creative world, founding Liwik Yiyah Consulting, a First Nations–led studio that weaves Wurundjeri design, symbolism, and storytelling into contemporary spaces and mediums.

My work spans large-scale murals, public art, digital and architectural design, and cultural education. Every piece is created with respect to Country, authenticity to culture, and purpose beyond aesthetics.

This brand is an extension of that journey — a way to carry culture forward, honour ancestors, and ensure First Nations stories are seen, worn, and understood for generations to come.
